Our Mission

Our mission is to provide holistic and individualised quality care through services that enrich the lives of our residents. We aim to provide a home away from home experience by fostering an individual’s independence and choices, whilst maintaining their dignity and wellbeing. We strive to provide an environment that provides each resident with a sense of belonging and community.

We are dedicated in working closely with residents and their families, as well as collaboratively with allied health services, to fulfil the individualised care that each resident requires. We strive to support residents to live as independently as possible.

Our Services

Bignold Park provides long-term and short-term care support and respite accommodation.
Residents will have peace of mind knowing that care staff are available and are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide professional care and support. A call button system is installed in each room to enable residents to raise an audible alarm for assistance or in event of emergencies. This alarm is monitored 24 hours a day by care staff.

We provide low level personal care which includes delicious home cooked meals by our qualified chef and domestic care including laundry services for a fraction of the price compared to traditional nursing/aged care homes. There is no asset or income testing so prospective residents can move in at their own convenience at any time.

Couples are also encouraged to live together and we offer double bed rooms.

Our dedicated team will provide appropriate care to foster physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and intellectual needs while respecting privacy, dignity and supporting independence.

Our Care

The care plan is a developed support plan that details the ongoing health and personal needs of the resident and the care Bignold Park will provide to meet those needs.

Focusing on the care of each individual, on admission each resident will be assessed by the personal care coordinator to determine any additional care that may be required. An interim care plan is developed within 48 hours of admission in consultation with the resident and their guardian, administrator or nominated person. The interim care plan is then reviewed and expanded into an ongoing care plan within 28 days of moving in.

The care plan is reviewed by our personal care coordinator and health care professionals, and any changes are discussed with the resident and their nominated person. The ongoing care plan will be reviewed every 6 months or earlier as care needs change, and amendments will be made as necessary to ensure the best care and support is provided to our residents.
